Umari Stroud

Umari was raised in NE Portland, where her passion for volleyball developed. Umari received two Portland Interscholastic League Player of the Year awards, two-time first team all league selection, & helped lead her varsity HS team to the State Championship Series for the first time in 8 years. Umari played at University on the East coast and returned home with a PSAC Championship ring. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Umari continued to fulfill her passion for volleyball by playing recreationally and giving private lessons to youth and inquiring adults.

 

Umari’s attention to detail and passion for the game has brought her full circle to where it all began: Athena Volleyball Club. She is eager to dominate the season with a team who is as passionate about the game as she is. Let’s work!
