Erika is from Portland, Oregon, attended Jesuit High School and attended college at Gonzaga University. She started playing volleyball in 7th grade, and played intramurals throughout college. She first started coaching 9 years ago in Spokane, Washington. After moving back to Portland, she joined the Athena staff in the Fall of 2019, and began coaching at Mountainside HS that same fall, where she is currently the JV coach. When she's not in a gym, you can find Erika in her 5th grade classroom at St. Pius X School or on a walk with her husband, Zach, and her Australian Shepherd, Blitz! Erika coached 16 Silver for the past four seasons, as well as 13 White/Silver for the last two seasons. She cannot wait to be back with Athena for a full season in our brand new facility!!!
