Erik Anderson
Erik began playing volleyball in Shorewood, Wisconsin where he was a three-year starter on a varsity team that came in 2nd at state his senior year. He then moved on to the University of Oregon Men’s Club program as a four-year starter on a team that came in 5th place at mens club nationals three of the four years that Erik played on the team. Erik continued playing after college focusing on sand volleyball where he played for many years in the mens Open division in Florida, the Midwest, and the Pacific Northwest.
Over the years, Erik has coached at many levels and locations throughout Oregon. He coached at the high school level at Sheldon (JV head), Centennial (Varsity assistant), and West Linn (JV head and Varsity Assistant). One year coming in 2nd at state with West Linn. He also had a short stint at Western Oregon University (First Assistant) coming in second place at NAIA nationals. He has coached multiple club teams in the region with stints at Mt Hood VBC and Northwest Juniors Coaching at the 18U level. This is his sixth year coaching with the AJAX/Athena Club, working with the younger boys and starting them on the right path forward with volleyball.
