A parent/guardian needs to be present for all players to sign the player commitment form at the end of the tryout period.
Tryout Registration Process
DETERMINE YOUR PLAYER'S AGE GROUP
Review the USAV Age Definition Chart to determine what age your player is eligible play.
11 & Under - Eligible for 11U & 12U
12 & Under - Eligible for 12U
13 & Under - Eligible for 13U & 14U
14 & Under - Eligible for 14U
15 & Under - Eligible for 15U & 16U
16 & Under - Eligible for 16U
17 & Under - Eligible for 17U & 18U
18 & Under - Eligible for 18U
USAV MEMBERSHIP

PRE-REGISTRATION STEPS
Complete these steps prior to starting the tryout registration process:

Renew your player's USAV membership.

Have your player's USAV membership expiration date available.

Membership must be valid through at least 12/31/2025.

Membership can be upgraded to full season after making a team.

Save an electronic copy of both sides of your player's medical insurance card for upload.

Save a copy of a head-shot photo of your player for upload.

Create an account with Sprocket Sports (see instructions below).

Create Account with Sprocket Sports
We are pleased to announce our partnership with Sprocket Sports. Sprocket Sports is a modern technology platform for the management of our club activities. For parents, Sprocket delivers an easy-to-use registration and payment system, as well as comprehensive communications and a user-friendly website experience. For our leaders, staff, and coaches, Sprocket offers an extensive and powerful operating system so they can focus on what really matters — our athletes!
Please take a moment to set up your account by completing the following steps. Your previous PlayMetrics account will not carry over to the new system.
1. Create a Parent/Guardian account by clicking on the button below. Note that you will add your player(s) in a later step.
2. You'll be prompted to create a password and your email will become your username moving forward.
3. Once your account is confirmed, the system will walk you through the process of adding additional Parents/Guardians as well as adding your player(s).
4. After you’ve successfully created your account and logged in, you’ll be able to access the main dashboard. On the right-hand side of the page, there will be a list of Open Programs that you can use to register your players for any programs that they are eligible for.
5. Select the hyperlink to the Program you’d like to register for and complete the step-by-step process!
